This policy explains how Scripline collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website.
Effective and last updated: August 15, 2026
Scripline is currently operated as a sole proprietorship and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If the business is reorganized as a limited liability company, this policy will be updated to identify the new operator before it assumes responsibility for the website's personal information.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@scripline.com.
When you contact Scripline through this website, we collect the information you choose to submit in the contact form, including your name, email address, company or organization, selected service type, and message content.
The selected service type may include custom website, web or mobile app, analytics dashboard, branding and visual identity, or other project support.
Scripline uses Vercel to host and deliver this website. Vercel's hosting, content-delivery, security, and server infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, request metadata, browser or device information, requested pages, referring pages, approximate location, and timestamps.
We collect this information directly from you or automatically from your browser when it requests the website. Please do not include information about another person unless you are authorized to provide it.
We use inquiry information to take steps you request before a possible business engagement, respond to you, evaluate project scope and timing, and maintain related business records. We use limited technical information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
Where the GDPR applies, these activities rely as appropriate on steps requested before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and operating a secure website, and legal obligations that require particular records.
We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will reassess the required notices and choices before introducing such a practice.
Contact form submissions pass through the application hosted on Vercel and are stored in a PostgreSQL database provided by Neon. The production application function and database are currently configured in the providers' iad1 United States region.
Vercel and Neon may use subprocessors or infrastructure in other locations as described in their applicable service terms and privacy materials. We also link to Google Calendar for optional appointment booking; information you submit after following that link is handled under the applicable Google service terms and privacy practices.
We disclose personal information to these providers only for hosting, database, security, troubleshooting, and related operational services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer where the recipient assumes the obligations described in this policy.
Obvious spam and test submissions are deleted when identified. We retain a legitimate project inquiry while it is active. Inactive inquiries are reviewed after 12 months and deleted unless they remain reasonably necessary for follow-up, an established business relationship, dispute resolution, security, accounting, or another legal obligation.
Records associated with an accepted client engagement may be retained separately under applicable business, contractual, accounting, and legal recordkeeping requirements. Provider recovery systems may retain deleted information temporarily within their applicable backup or restore windows.
Limited hosting and security records are retained according to the applicable provider configuration and retention periods. We periodically review these periods and avoid retaining records longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.
The website and contact database are currently hosted in the United States. If you submit personal information from another country, it may be processed in the United States and other locations where the relevant service providers operate.
Before intentionally offering services to people in a jurisdiction requiring additional international-transfer safeguards, Scripline will review its provider agreements and applicable transfer requirements.
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict particular processing. Applicable law may permit us to retain certain records or require us to verify a request before acting on it.
California CCPA rights apply only when Scripline is a covered business under that law. Because Scripline does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, the website does not currently provide a sale-or-sharing opt-out. Scripline will implement applicable opt-out mechanisms, including support for qualifying browser preference signals, before introducing a covered sale or sharing practice.
If the GDPR applies to particular processing, you may also have a right to data portability and to complain to an applicable supervisory authority. We do not use contact inquiries for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Providing contact-form information is voluntary, but we cannot evaluate or respond to an inquiry without a name, a usable email address, a service type, and a message. You may withdraw an inquiry at any time, although withdrawal does not affect processing already performed or records we must lawfully retain.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information submitted through the website. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
This business-to-business website and its services are not directed to children, and Scripline does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the contact form. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
We will post policy updates on this page and revise the effective date below. If a change materially affects how previously collected personal information is used or disclosed, we will provide additional notice appropriate to the change, such as a prominent website notice or direct email when we have suitable contact information, before applying the new practice where required.
To ask a privacy question or make a privacy request, email contact@scripline.com. Please describe the request and the email address used for the inquiry. We may ask for limited additional information to verify that we are responding to the correct person, but please do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through a secure method.
